I’m on a confusing path, but I’m not confused though. Like walking the path of illusion, yet being fully disillusioned. Immersed in reality and seeing the fantasy, or vice-versa.
This is what it feels like as a 12th house stellium. Especially having an exalted Sun there. The sun is at it’s highest point; like Bird’s Eye View, and thus, it can see almost everything from this position. Yet at the same time, it’s in the elusive realm of the unseen. The house of isolation. To have everything visible to you, yet remain invisible… it’s a gift and a curse.
Everyone can’t do this. Everyone can’t do the type of magic that I do. We all have our unique individual magic, and this one is mine. (That’s not to say I’m the only one doing it). That is, bringing spirituality back into the erotic art-world, and the art-world at large.
So much of society, which is what erotica is inspired from, is obsessed with the exoteric instead of the esoteric; rather focus on what’s in front of them in stead of what’s behind the veil. What’s become more appealing to us, is the looks. We’re so obsessed and immersed to the body and physicality, that we neglect the spirit. We’ve lost sight of what’s really important. We discredit the soul before we discredit the body.. Why? Because of our senses. Our senses, which connect us to this realm, are what we use to make decisions. So by default, opposing the rejection of such faculties makes “sense.”
But the thing is, we use all of our senses to make decisions — not just our physical senses of Sight, Smell, Taste, Feel, and Hear — but also our internal senses. Our likes/dislikes (values), our strengths/weaknesses (security), our opinions (perspective), our knowledge (intuition), & our time (memories & aspirations). There’s a lot more internal senses than external so I wont go down the line listing them ALL. That being said, this much sense yet we’re still worried about “common sense.” Fuck that. Common is boring. Where is the ACTUAL passion? Now it’s time to refocus our energies.
And that’s why I’m here, as Kama Sense, the Sol of Andromeda. To point us in the right direction towards our passions. To get us back into the energy. Not necessarily to take us out of the body.. but to remind us that it doesn’t stop there. (And doesn’t really start there either). That’s what a lot of the old teachers got both right & wrong. They teach you that the desire is evil. That’s not true at all, but desire does have potential to lower your consciousness. Yet, you are not born without it. Before you can explain what hunger even means, you’ll desire food or the milk of your mother. That’s right, one of your first desires is to have a titty in your mouth.. and without that desire, you’d be dead. You’d never know when it’s time to eat. So obviously desire isn’t the issue, in fact it serves as a guide to our senses, to keep us alive.
Now what the ancients got right, is the concept of the Kundalini. There’s so much fucking conflating about this, but it’s literally just practicing the ritual of taking your desires and bringing them to a state of consciousness. That’s the issue. Not our desires, but us chasing after them unconsciously.. doing whatever it takes to satisfy ourselves, even if that means harm. Remember this as a rule of thumb, it’s not what we do but how. If you can be more holistic in your approach to your desires, they will lift you. Otherwise if you take a more blind approach, you’ll surely be dragged. That’s is to say, live life using the whole of your chakras instead of just one (usually the Root).
I’ll talk more on the blindly chasing desires later. Until then, just understand the allegory of blindness. You don’t know what you’re really looking at.. can you even trust that this is your actual desire? (Let alone all of the steps necessary to acquire it)
Now back to the topic of erotic art and getting lost in the body. We live in an erotic society, that simultaneously looks down on sex and anything related. Hypersexualization is the topic of most media critiques, and me being Kama, I can understand why. It’s because we’re still living in our root & sacral chakras. Just now are we starting to get lost in the heart chakra. And so, we see the world from these chakras. I don’t though. I’m tapped into all of my chakras at the same time, and I can choose spend time in each as I please. Just as a 12th house stellium is the last house, I spend most of my time in the last (higher) chakras. I travel all over though. If I want to take a sacral concept to the throat, I can. If I want to take a heart concept to the solar, I can. It’s the masses, who is limited in their travels between chakras.
A world trapped in the lower chakras, the lower vibrations and frequencies, will only create from such a space. An artist trapped in their root will only create/connect from the root — that is to see, think, and feel from the root. Once we become more aware of our lighter bodies instead of the denser ones (aka the root chakras representing the physical flesh), we’ll have a lighter vision.. instead of such a dark one.
And that’s where I come. Adding some light to our vision.
