Venus In Leo
When Venus enters the firey sign of Leo, our love and relationships take the center-stage. Since Leo is a fixed sign, love can look two ways right now: stagnated or committed. To find out where you are on that spectrum, ask yourself “Am I dimming my light? Or am I allowing myself to shine?” Leo has that bigger than life energy; it’s not made for “dimming.” Leo walks with the pride of a lion. So if you’re spending time on people, places, and things that don’t leave you feeling proudโthen you’re probably settling. We should be valuing (Venus) things that actually make us feel confident (Leo) right now. The moment we start feeling insecure, is when we should start paying more attention to our values and relationships. That’s not the only time to pay attention though, just a perfect one.
Notice all of the relationships and hobbies that actually make you feel alive. If you’ve been taking any of this for granted, you’ll be given the opportunity to change that. The most rewarding connections are the ones that feel effortless…There’s a constant reciprocal exchange between parties, without ego clashes. I’m not talking about the old “I scratch your backโyou scratch my back” exchange. That’s more transactional; business vibes. What I’m referring to is more passionate; love vibes. I mean exchanges through shared interests, values, and hobbies. You know, exchanges dealing with Venus & Leo type of things. It’s easier to fall in love with someone who shares the same passions as you. Or as they say, “You meet the ones you love, doing what you love.”
Some other things to keep in mind, is again, Leo is the center-stage. There could be some added spotlights on your love life, whether it be from internal analysis or external observations. What comes with the center-stage, what does that even mean? That saying originates from the theater scene; the center-stage is the focal point of a performance. Whether it be through music, acting, or just oration, the stage represents where we broadcast our passions. That being said, we can find our romance as the source of someone’s entertainment. Hopefully your love-life isn’t so full of drama, it attracts the wrong attention.
Conjunctions ๐
Venus Conjunct Mercury โฟ๏ธ
This conjunction took place at the start of the transit (8/26/2025) and will last until September 2nd. When Venus and Mercury get together, we say things like “love is in the air.” Deadass. Sounds clichรฉ right? Not until you find out Mercury and air represent the same things. They have differences, of course, otherwise there wouldn’t be a differentiation. But generally, both Mercury and air represent thoughts, words, and communication. Venus conjunct Mercury puts love on mind of the collective. Our language and ideas get centered around love. Now add Leo to the mix. Not only does love becomes a focal point for us, it becomes a non-stop thought. Not because you particularly want to focus on this, but because it’s on the top of everyone’s minds. It’s like being constantly bombarded with dating ads, just because you watched ONE “Love Island” episode. Quieting the monkey-mind has never been easy, but imagine when it keeps reminding you of how single you are.
Do the constant love-reminders make you want to rush into a relationship? Cherish the one(s) you’re already in? Or do they inspire you to take more bold actions, embracing the freedoms of single-life? Venus conjunct Mercury, in Leo, can make us feel like go-getters when it comes to romance. We should be cautious not to be too hyperactive though. Romance is already a hot-topic and I doubt Leo needs help keeping things spicy. Being too firey with your love can make the love burnout. Luckily Leo is fixed fire, so it has the power to maintain that passion for a long period of time. The cheat code is remembering the pride of a lion. If you’re THAT confident, then you shouldn’t feel rushed to do any damn thing, let alone get into a relationship. You move on your own terms. And when something doesn’t go according to plan, you don’t sit there licking your wounds. You readjust your crown and prepare to pounce on the next opportunity. True ego is understanding of the self. When you know yourself, what others have to say about you, matters none. Who cares what society says you should be married by? Do it when you want, if you even want. Who cares that people saw this relationship didn’t work out? It’s your relationship, not theirs. You walked away with a lesson to make the next relationship better, they walked away with some finger-pointing. And last but not least, who cares that you got rejected? If you’re really full of yourself (and not full of shit), then you see that rejection as a redirection. The door wasn’t closed. It just wasn’t for you. And if you’re REALLY talking about Leo ego, fuck the door. The hinges, let alone the door, didn’t have enough value to even be in your presence. When you think like that, there is no rushing into passions. You ARE the passion. But more on this perspective when we get to the Eros aspect.
Venus Conjunct Moon โ๏ธ๐
The next and final conjunction with Venus this month, is with the moon. Venus in Leo conjuncts the Moon in Leo from September 18 to September 19th, the last day of Venus in Leo. Ending the Venus transit with a moon conjuction makes love matters even more emotional. The fact that it’s happening in Leo could hint at these emotions being dramatic. On the positive side, our lovers and friends will be more understanding with our emotions right now. Creatively speaking, this is an opportune time to focus your emotions on your hobbies and interests. These interests can be a source of inspiration and/or income, or it can serve as an emotional outlet. Spending more time with the ones your love and/or doing what you love, can grant more emotional clarity right now.
Trines ๐บ๏ธ
Venus Trine Saturn ๐ชโ๏ธ and Neptune๐ฑ
The Neptune aspects last for the entire duration of the Leo Venus Transit. The Saturn aspect lasts from August 26th until the first of September. This particular aspect actually helps with the last mentioned one. They both instill a greater sense of self-esteem, which will be needed when your faith is tested. Saturn is the planet of trials and tribulations. Venus trine Saturn brings “gifts with tests.” Temperance is the remedy. Receiving so many blessings and opportunities can lead us into taking these things for granted. With discipline, we not only savor our gifts, but also show gratitude for them by not overindulgingโwhich is something we may have a tendency to do, with Neptune there as well. Neptune brings the mysticism, which is all about illusions and imagination. Because of this “otherworldly fantasy” vibe that Neptune carries, it can often translate into escapism. That’s where overindulgence comes in. So Saturn here, keeps a since of respect of the gift instead of abusing it.
That being said, Saturn and Neptune together turns the mundane into the arcane. Suddenly you can see the mythos behind everything. With Aries as the archetypal energy, we’re releasing outdated identities to build new ones more aligned with our spirituality. With Venus trine to this, there’s an added influence to make sure this identity is harmonious for the current relationships in our lives. Or it can indicate that our relationships need to shift now that we’re on this spiritual journey of individuality.
Venus Trine Moon ๐ (8/31 – 9/1โ๏ธ & 9/9 – 9/10โ๏ธ)
The first trine between Venus and the moon happens from August 31st to September 1st. The moon will be stationed in Sagittarius. As our relationships take the spotlight, our hearts desire exploration. Novelty and curiosity are cheat codes for navigating relationships. Our relationships will push us towards discovering universal truths, which we may find in our creative interests.
The second and final trine with the moon happens from September 9th and 10th. This time the moon is in Aries. Our emotional state is more bold yet reactive. Confidence is on our side, but so is anger. You won’t have stagefright, but there’s a good chance you’ll make a fool out of yourself. This can work in a good or a bad way. Positively speaking, think of how a comedian works the crowd. A lot of the best jokes are push the limits of what’s acceptable, or what’s been done before. This takes a lot of balls, which Aries provides. However this can also lead to a disastrous performance and deter the crowd. The remedy is balance between confidence and humility. In matter of the heart, be confident enough to bare the humiliation of rejection. The same applies to creative pursuits. Fortune favors the bold.
Sextiles *๏ธโฃ
Venus Sextile Mars โ๏ธโ๏ธ
This aspect lasts the entire duration of the transit. Mars is in Venus’s home sign of Libra. This is known as the fall of Mars. Here, Mars natural qualities are muted. So our motivation and drive is harder to conjure right now. We will, however, feel particularly motivated to work towards relationship goals. With Venus sextiling that “relationship motivation,” we’ll be blessed with opportunities to work on the creative goals of our loved ones. Whether it’s our friends or our partners, we’ll be motivated to help them pursue their hobbies and interests with vigor. We’ll also be given the opportunity to act as foundational support for a loved one; our own personal hobbies/interest will act as either the catalyst or support tool.
What’s really great about this aspect lasting the entire transit is tempering the flames of arguments. As I’ve mentioned throughout this post, Venus in Leo puts our love-lives on centerstage. Mars is the natural ruler of Aries, the sign of war. Mars is literally all about conflict. It’s the meme “I want problems, always!” Obviously this is terrible energy when it comes to harmonious relationships. That’s why Venus falls in Aries. With love being dramatized and put on blasts for everyone to see right now (Leo), we don’t really want to be caught in the middle of arguing. Mars in Libra already has the signature energies of relationship spats. That’s either because it’s constantly fighting to NOT fightโor it only fights with loved ones. However since Venus is the subject planet, and Mars is in her home sign, Venus gets the focus here. So in spite of the fact that things can get heated with our partners, it’s all in the name of love. That’s why it’s important that we express this love in healthy ways, one of the healthiest being communication. Unfortunately Mercury only makes one major aspect with Venus this tranitโand it only lasts for a week!
Venus Sextile Uranus โ
This is another aspect that lasts the entire transit. Uranus just went into Gemini will is bringing sudden changes when it comes to our friends, neighborhoods, and our own ideas. Uranus is a generational planet, because of its distance. Meaning that because it’s so far away, when it makes a move, everyone is affected for an extended period of timeโa generation. These aren’t just small moves, these are changes that are felt through the centuries. Changes that redirect the course of history. With Venus sextile the generational planet of technology and information (Uranus), our relationships are given opportunities to change and evolve with tech as the catalyst. Ideas around online dating will shift. The intellectual capacity of our partners and love-interests are more at the forefront. As the generational planet changes, we’re being introduced to a new generation of ideas and thoughts. A new way of seeing the world is approaching us. Now, we have the blessing of aligning our values with this new vision before its fully implanted into the collective consciousness. Any connections that we have, that don’t resonate with the new timelines we’re all individually walking towards, will cease to exist. Prepare for extreme and rapid changes with the people and things you think you know. Venus is granting you the ability to see where this headed before it gets here. Notice how values are changing in society from what was once accepted to not. Where do you stand in that? Where do your loved ones stand?
Venus Sextile Moon
This alignment first takes place when the moon enters Libra on August 26th until the 28th. The Venus transit kicks off with a sextile with the moon, which has our emotions fined tuned to harmony. We’ll be seeking balance within our relationships and trying to find ways to relate with our partners’ creativity. We crave reciprocal love yet want to feel special. In order for people to make us feel special, we must make people feel special.
This alignment also happens between September 13th and 15th, when the moon enters Gemini. We’ll all (for the most part) feel drawn to communication and sharing ideas. Doing so with particularly our loved ones right now can feel even more rewarding. Simply talking about our passions and interests can strengthen the bonds of our relationships, especially during this aspect.
Squares โ
Venus Square Eros ๐
I mentioned in this article, that Eros will be in Taurus until Valentine’s Day 2026. That means as long Venus is in Leo, it forms a square with Eros. (Remember these are sign-based aspects, not degrees.) In other words, this is another aspect that will last the whole transit. Leo and Taurus both know about confidence, luxury, and comfort. All of these energies can introduce complacency. Ego steps in the way of growth, blocking us from new potentials. Overconfidence and comfort in luxuries soften our creative edge. We lose the hunger and thirst for more because we’re already living lavishly. We’ve seen it all and taste it all, so we know there’s nothing else to explore. Curiosity takes a backseat. Then Eros offers a remedy, followed by Venus. Our sexuality becomes a learning resource for our relationships, and vice versa. True confidence in our sexuality comes from knowing our values, our likes and dislikes, not from the things we have or the experiences we can brag about. True confidence in our relationships comes from authentic expression to reach shared understandings, like exploring the sexual desires of your partner.
Venus Square Lilith โธ
Lilith is in Scorpio from March 18th to December 21st. This not only creates a square with Venus, but opposes Eros. Lilith is the unconscious mind, where our desires and fears are so deep we don’t even know they’re there. It’s our primal soft spot. Since it’s squaring Venus the entire transit, this is a time our relationships can trigger our unconscious fears. The people we love can unknowingly (or knowingly) upset us based on childhood or past life traumas. The point is to learn how to transmute that energy so our relationships don’t suffer in the long run. Our loved ones are only humans, so there’s only so much they can continue to put up with until it’s time for us to take accountability. In other words, we need to recognize when we’re projecting our fears onto others vs when we’re actually picking up on negativity. Considering Neptune is in Aries while this is happening, projecting illusions of conflicts and war, it’s even more imperative right now to use proper discernment. Not every fear is ours to entertain. Not every seed of doubt, not every paranoid thought, is protective. How can your unconscious fears bring loved ones closer to you, instead of driving them away?
Venus Square Moon ๐
First the first square with the moon is on August 29th to 30th, when it’s in Scorpio. We’ll feel emotional reserved and introspective, which can get in the way of our relationships. Us being non-vulnerable doesn’t necessarily fan the flames of our partners’ interests. However if we spend this time to dive deeper on our own passions and interests, this can open the door to more intimacy.
Then when the moon enters Taurus on September 11th to the 12th, our emotions will be grounded and stable. Sounds good, except Venus in Leo values excitement an adventure. This is feeling like staying in tonight to binge movies, while your wife wants to go out to the new club that everyone keeps talking about. The remedy behind this is finding value in our friends’ and partners’ interests. We can also seek ways to align our own personal interests, with the values of our loved ones. This way, it’s not too demanding to do the things that love, and in fact, it becomes enjoyable.
Oppositions โ๏ธ
Venus Oppose Pluto โ๏ธ
Pluto is in Aquarius from December 20th, 2023 until March 10th, 2043. So again, for this whole transit, Venus will be opposing Pluto in Aquarius. Everyone is being called to redefine what “power” means to them and we’re seeing this on a global scale. Because of this, relationship dynamics are going through a paradigm shift of their own. “Power couples” of the past are put into the spotlight as an example of what to do/not do. The ending of relationships are being broadcast for entire collectives to witness. Particular groups are dissolving as the collective changes its mind on how it values them. Prime example is YSL and Young Thug right now. Harmony in relationships can only be experienced when the power is evenly distributed. Venus in Leo, however, is about loving the star of the show… not the entire cast. Not to mention we just left the timeline that says power is gotten through material domination, Pluto in Capricorn. So now with this new understanding of power on top of Venus being in a self-centered sign, things can get tricky in romance. Try not to be too selfish in your relationships and share the stage. But at the same time, be yourself to the fullest and don’t be afraid of expressing that. If you refusing to dim your light causes others to leave you, then let them! That’s also what Pluto in Aquarius is about. Venus wants you to value your unique expression, but Pluto in Aquarius wants you to dig into the shifts and changes happening in others. That’s why it’s an opposition, Venus and Pluto want the opposite things. The key is to notice the changes in others, recognize how that aligns with you or doesn’t, and to brace yourself for outgrowing certain connections.
Venus Oppose Moon
The moon enters Aquarius on September 5th to 6th. Emotionally we want to connect and blend in with the crowd. But romantically, we want to stand out and be recognized for our uniqueness. Similar qualities to the previous aspect (Venus Oppose Pluto), except this is more based on your feelings rather than sense of power. It’s not that you’ll feel empowered by connected with the crowd (Pluto), but that you’ll feel more comfortable not standing out. You feel at ease when the spotlight isn’t on you..except that’s exactly what your heart is craving right now. How can you enjoy the passions of the heart when it desires something opposite from the emotions? Sometimes it’s about understanding that the heart knows more than the mind, which is probably where your “feelings” are really coming from. Other times, it’s about knowing when to honor your emotions when love gets to overwhelming.
